A Well-Curated Geek News Source

Posted on | November 20, 2008 | No Comments

When I’m researching CS and other fields to make GeekStack cards for, I find a LOT of geeky news.  For instance, yesterday I found a discussion of whether genes are the base unit of a species rather than of an individual, and that a guy named Danny Hillis built a computer out of Tinker Toys.  I was keeping them for my notes but I thought it would be a useful source of news for others.

So I decided to add these links to del.icio.us and add then to my RSS feed.  I have a backlog of about 50 links that I’ll be adding 4-5 a day until I clear it out, and then probably 1-3 a day after that.  I hope this helps publicize some lesser-known sites and get people more excited about the big ones.
