“We may be at a time when we need geeks as the heroes” – Larry Lessig

True Heroes

Our world is built on science, intelligence, and ambition.  GeekStack is an adventure with the people, events, and achievements that built the world we live in.  It is also an introduction to the ideas behind the heroes.

GeekStack will be a collectible trading card game featuring these people, events, achievements, and ideas.  The first series will be based about Computers and is expected to be ready for play testing in Summer or Fall of 2010.

What To Expect

  • Updates:  occasional updates on the blog with news and announcements as the project progresses.
  • Organization: How will the set be structured?  How many cards?
  • Product Information: When will they be done?  How will they be sold?  Where can I get mine?
  • Card List:  Who will be in the first set?  Who won’t make the cut?
  • Sample Cards:  When we get some made, we’ll preview them on the site.
  • Special Offers: Email subscribers and regular commenters will have access to special offers and playtesting spots.  People who review or help promote GeekStack might even get freebies!
  • Contests:  Part of being a geek is being a bigger geek than the next person.  You’ll get your chance to prove it.
